Despite life's challenges, Gretchen kept the faith, stayed her course, and fought a good fight. She has "graduated" and is now at rest.
May God grant family and friends healing, peace, and determination to overcome obstacles during this time of loss.

Please accept my sincere condolences.

To the Smith Family,
April as she was called affectionly was one of the kindest persons you could ever meet. I had known her through many trials and tribulations. She always kept a smile on her face. Her greatest joy was when her daughter was born and then her God sent marriage. Although we didn't talk as much she will surely be missed. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to the family.

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family. Gretchen was a wonderful teacher, colleague, and friend. I affectionately called her "Teddy Graham." She was a blessing to me and I will miss her. I hope the memories you have of Gretchen will bring you comfort and peace during this difficult time of transition.

My name is Tyra Chisolm, my husband Jack and I send our Condolences to the Smith Family, I've known Grethen for over 20 years, we were spiritual sisters who will always love the Lord. She tutored both my grandkids giving them a better education, they both graduated with honors. I thank God for the time we did have together, now we have our spiritual time together. To the family,
I remember your loved one as having ambition, love for her students, and a smile to share with others. Gretchen was not one to just sit around, she was a doer and she tried to put a positive spin into life situations. May the memories you have of your loved one live on forever in your hearts. Whenever I see a butterfly I will think of Gretchen, we shared the love of butterflies. She would always address me as 'Butterfly Lady.' God bless you Jordanne, Jeane, and Clinton. Fernando thanks for helping her to keep smiling through life situations.

Sending Prayers of Comfort,
'Butterfly Lady' - Vanessa
