Kandie, it's been a hell of a year. I am in awe of your compassion and strength. And I'm sure jay saw this too especially while you took care of him and several others at the same time during their time of need. I didn't know him, but I got to know you. You kept your commitment to the vow "in sickness and in health" wonderfully. And I thank you for it and love you for it.

Knowing Jay (JJ) for many years beginning at work, then extending to working together almost continuously on the same crew, and then as riding buddies and ultimately as brothers, I have had the privilege of his friendship and wisdom. Although distance kept us apart more than not, the time we spent together made up for any absences. He lived life with a set of values which spoke to me always, and his comradarie was second to none. Heartfelt prayers and hope go out to his family during this time and always. JJ lives on and will be carried wherever the wind takes me.
