To Mrs. Carolyn, My name is Joan (Woolard) Jones and I'm the daughter of Herbert and Lou Woolard. I remember your husband when I was just a child and he always impressed me as being a kind-hearted person who loved his garden. When you all lived near Orcutt Ave in NN, we used to visit you all and he always offered to give my parents something good to eat out of the garden. His collards were great! I'm sorry for your loss and I will keep him in my prayers. I will also be thinking about you, too, Mrs. Carolyn. Please extend my sympathies to Inez. She has also been a good friend to my parents. My siblings and I offer our prayers to your family.
