To the Puckette Family,

I had the wonderful opportunity to be acquainted with Katie at the nursing home visiting my mom. She shared a room with my mom at the beginnning and then sat at my moms table for dinner. We fell in love with her from the very begining. I will also cherish our friendship and will never forget her. We had many enjoyable conversations and they all led to our families. She was always so happy and positive. She loved her three sons and talked about them often as she did other family members. She is definitely a role model to follow and I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to have known her. She will live forever in my heart. What a great personality she had, such a great zest for life and such a beautiful smile. If there is anything I can do, please let us know.

Douglas, I'm sorry to hear about your mother. I remember her very well as well as your Dad. The thing I remember the most is walking in front of the TV while your Dad and brothers were watching it. i think we were in the third grade. I never did that again. It's been a long time since I've seen you. I hope all is well. Take care old friend. Again, I'm sorry for your loss. If you are of a mind, my number is in the Gloucester phone book.

Andrew, Rhonda, Larry, Dianne, Doug and all the grandchildren--We have many fond memories of Katie. We both loved Katie very much and will always remember her delicious cooking. I never will forget the summer Mary, Hester & I went to Mrytle Beach for a week. We surely enjoyed this time spent together and Katie was so much tun to be with. I also have fond memories of her when I was still growing up. In fact, Cecil & I took my father to visit Henry & Katie for one weekend and Cecil purposed to me that weekend while .in Newport News.
Our memories are a gift from God--I know each of you have many fond memories of Katie and in the days ahead they will help you get through this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you and I'm so sorry we will not be able to attend the service and see each of you. We love each of you and remember to come to see us.

Andrew, Larry, Doug, Rhonda, and Dianne... You all are in my prayers. I remember many times together (kids) when we were young, and can always recall Aunt Katie's sweet smile. We all will miss her, but know that she is now smiling once again. I pray God will comfort you all during this time. Sorry I won't be at the service, due to a virus.

To the Puckette Family,
Words can not express my sincere sympathy for your loss. I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Katie Puckette but, I can tell that she was a great grandmother from the stories Jeff has shared with me. Although she is no longer here this day know that her memories will always be in your hearts to share with others. Know that she is watching you from above and keeping you safe. She will surely be missed by all. Our prayers are with the Puckette family at this time. May God keep you strong at your time of grief.

To the Puckette Family,
The loss of someone so close is difficult to bear, please know that the thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.
In reading the blog written by Jennifer about her grandmother and in listening to Jeff tell stories of his grandmother, I could feel the love from each of them. May your memories of her keep you strong during your time of grief and carry you through the sorrow. Please accept our deepest sympathies on the loss of your beloved mother/grandmother. May God bless and keep you strong during this difficult time.

I enjoyed Katie's smile and homor when she was on the van riding to church. She was always warm and friendly and had kind words for everyone. We have been missing her ever since she moved to Coliseum Park. We all know she is in a better place now but we can't help missing her. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
