VIRGINIA BEACH - Frances 'Bunny' Dinwiddie, 93, an area resident since 1940, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010.
She was a past member of Ivy Farms Church of the Brethren and was known to be very athletic and referred to every new friend as 'Honey.'
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Richard Gordon Dinwiddie; and is survived by two daughters, Sepi D. Prichard of Raleigh, N.C., and Joan D. Smith of Poquoson; five grandchildren, Donald Lewis, Laurie Gulledge, Richard Smith, Roger Smith, and Mindi Johnson; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at W. J. Smith and Son Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m., with Pat Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park. Please leave condolences at www.wjsmithandsonfh.com
