It was an honor to have known Mr. Wiatt although it was a short time. He was a great man and we all will miss his humor and smile. I cared for him and enjoyed our conversations.
I hope you are looking down on us all and smiling. God bless you Mr Wiatt!

Robin, so very sorry to hear this news.
I had always thought that in retirement I would get to visit his store but waited too long...I did get to see him a few years ago at Eleanor's (my aunt).
I did not see him often but it was always a treat. He was nice even as a young boy and I enjoyed him and his parents as some of my special memories.
I especially remember his happiness about his marriage and how much he loved you.
If there is ever anything I can do let me know,
Angie Brown

I was so fortunate to meet Mr. Wiatt through my brother Paul and his wife Rachel Smith. I sincerely felt as though I had been blessed meeting a man defining the " True Country Gentlemen". Several times, I was Blessed to visit his store, and I reveled in his wealth of knowledge and history which he seemed so happy to share about his items. I will cherish my items purchased and will remember him fondly. We have all lost a true gift of a very special man and I extend my condolences to his family.
