My sympathy to Frank's family. Frank was a wonderful teacher, much beloved by his students. When I started at MHS in 1996, Frank made me feel welcome. He helped me with math, and gave great advice on any number of other topics. I will always remember his generosity, kindness, and sense of humor; he always had a smile and warm greeting.I became a better person from knowing Frank, and will treasure his memory.

I am so sorry to read of Mr. Winkler's death. I had him for math at Millburn in the late 60's. Though math is still far from my strong point, I remember enjoying his class. To this day I remember finally understanding what a syllogism is. Funny the things that stick in your mind so many years later, sort of like Mr. Winkler. I am sure you will hear many such stories from his students & have many more of your own to remember him fondly by. The stones he cast into the pond will continue to ripple onward & outward in the distance for many long years to come, I am sure. My condolences.

I had Mr. Winkler for Math Analysis. He was such a caring and funny man! He had a very unique teaching style, but boy did I learn a lot from him. Thanks for all you did for the students of Millburn! Rest in peace Mr. Winkler.
