CHRISTENSEN, Beverly Deane 1939-2020 Beverly Christensen was born May 7, 1939, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Elva and Thomas Egbert. She was the oldest of four children. Hardworking and independent from a young age, she helped her parents in their several businesses. She married David Christensen in Holladay, Utah January 16, 1958. They raised four children together. Moving often due to his military service from Utah to California, Arizona, New Mexico, Georgia and finally settling in Richardson, Texas. When their children were older she received her interior design license and worked for Sherwin Williams for many years. Forever independent, she started her own flooring and design company in the early 80's in Allen, TX. This business she ran for several years with locations in Allen and Plano. She divorced David in 1992 and started a new venture as a real estate agent and property manager working for Century 21. Eventually that business grew to become into a real estate, property management company, Circle C Properties, which she started with her son David, son-in-law Frank and granddaughter Elizabeth. Well loved by her tenants and owners alike, many of which have stayed for over 20 years. Never really wanting to retire she was always involved in the business into her 80's. A true entrepreneur, she instilled that work ethic in all her children, each running their own business, or working with her. A characteristic learned from her mother and father. She was really a remarkable person, wife, mother, friend to many, and adoptive mother to so many over the years.. She inspired many people with her love and generosity. Her quick wit and infectious laughter will be missed by all. Beverly always had a positive outlook no matter her circumstances. She passed on June 9, 2020 leaving one brother, four children and six grandchildren as well as many other loved ones.
