David's celebration of life will be held at Grove Hill Funeral Home on October 17, 2020 at 1 p.m. David enjoyed cars and worked in the industry, as well as spending many hours in car-related hobbies. His other life-long passion was the care and rescue of dogs, especially boxers. He fostered boxers and was a volunteer at several rescue organizations. He'd drive hours to pick up dogs and bring at risk, senior and injured boxers for medical treatment, new placement, etc. In his later years David had many health issues and yet, he never gave up hope of having a better life. David was in the process of moving to Texarkana, to live near his long-time friends, when he died. He will be sorely missed by all who loved and knew him. In David's memory, please contribute to the American Diabetes Association
or your local animal rescue organization.
