KOUSTOUBARDIS, Dennis Dennis Koustoubardis passed away in his sleep Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019. Dennis was born March 31, 1950 in New York City to immigrant parents, Prometheus (Jack) and Anastasia Koustoubardis. After moving to Dallas, Dennis spent most of his childhood at the infamous Burger House in Snider Plaza, which his dad opened in 1951. Dennis graduated from Highland Park HS in 1968 as a proud member of "the Mob". He graduated from SMU and then graduate school where he received his masters degree from Amber University. Dennis' 40 years in the insurance business ended in 2018 as he looked forward to his retirement. He and Julie, his wife of 33 years, enjoyed traveling to many of the places on their "bucket list". Dennis is survived by his wife and soulmate, Julie Surrey Koustoubardis. He is also survived by children Andrew Koustoubardis, Justin Koustoubardis, Kelli Kingsbery Goodman, Clent Kingsbery and wife, Bridgit, and niece, Karly Kuby Blackson and husband, Chase. Dennis was known as Pops to his grandchildren Kyle Rainey, Drew Williams, Devin Koustoubardis and fiancé Juliana Gary, Alexis Goodman, Gavin Koustoubardis, Grace Koustoubardis and great-granddaughter Autumn Koustoubardis. Also survived by brother, Christopher Koustoubardis and sister, Christina Koustoubardis. Dennis had such a quick wit and was a friend to many. He enjoyed spending time with friends, family and especially his grandkids, attending all of their events and activities. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Diabetes Association or to your favorite animal rescue, in honor of sweet rescue pup, Bailey.

To the family of Dennis. I'm sorry for your loss. I loved Dennis like a brother like so many others. He was a great friend of my brother. When he and the gang would come to the house he would give me the iron claw(a wrestling move) all out of love of course.. He will never be forgotten . Always in my heart.. God Bless Dennis and family.❤

Julie and family - I am so saddened to hear of Dennis's (Chip's) passing. He was such a good friend to my brother, Vance. I think they were as close as brothers.
I am praying for you and your family during this difficult time.
