I am heart broken to learn that my friend Ellyn has died. It was just after Buddy died that Ellyn informed me of her dire diagnosis. Prayers for her and hope. Ellyn and I have been dear friends since our high school days at Highland Park High School in Dallas, Texas. We spent a great deal of fun time together. I witnessed Ellyn meeting Buddy and their budding romance leading to their marriage. After my family moved away from Texas in 1957, I never forgot my close friendships with Dallas friends. How glad I am that as recent as 2015, I was in Austin, Texas, and Ellyn, Buddy, and I spent a Sunday morning together. Ellyn being so organized brought with her old pictures of us from our high school days along with a picture of me at my dear responsibility to be in charge of the guest book for their wedding. We had a wonderful visit and took lovely pictures that sunny morning. I will miss her dearly for the loving emails she so often sent to me especially on my birthday and my emails to her. Rest in peace my dear friend. You are back together with your prescious love.
