LUSK, Jimmy Leon On Wednesday, July 8, 2020, Jimmy Leon Lusk, loving and devoted father, went home to heaven at age 70. Born on July 9, 1949 in Dallas, TX, Jim was best known for his contagious laugh and love of the car business. He was a dedicated member of Alcoholics Anonymous and devoted much of his life to working the program and cultivating numerous relationships therein. He was a caring and loyal friend to many and found the most joy in spending time with his daughter. Jim was preceded in death by his father, C.L. Lusk, his mother, Virginia Archer Cramer, and is reunited with his son, Craig Lusk. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Christin Lusk. A small, intimate service was held on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Thompson Cemetery in Nevada, TX. Donations and condolences may be sent through the GoFundMe account in his name.

Any man that could raise a daughter to be such a kind, compassionate, intelligent, beautiful soul is a man many men aspire to be. I never got the pleasure to meet Mr. Lusk, but definitely heard and felt the love Christin had for her dad. I know his time on Earth touched the lives of so many, and continue to pray for them to find peace in that he will be watching over you all.
