My most sincere condolences to the family. I met John serving on the Board of Special Care & Career Services/Launchability, now My Possibilities. He was a great servant leader and always looked to for sage wisdom and guidance. I loved hearing his history with the civil rights movement and all his wonderful stories. We also shared a fun time at Cooper Aerobics where he trained and kept in shape with his personal trainer and loved attending the summer member picnics. Finally I had the great fortune to have shared a going away lunch with him when he moved to Arizona to be with family. He will be missed but never forgotten.

I had the privilege of serving as the Recruiting Administrator for Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal from 1986-1992. John was one of the very first to welcome me after I joined the firm, letting me know he was a friend of my father's, Jim Tubb, and that he knew I came from "good people". I thoroughly enjoyed working with John and admired not only his servant's heart but also his wicked sense of humor. What an honor to have known him. My thoughts and prayers go with you all as you navigate this life without him.
