I FINISHED HIGH SCHOOL IN 1967 ON MY FATHER"S 61ST BIRTHDAY. IT IS ALWAYS SORROWFUL TO LOSE SOMEONE WHO LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU ALL THEIR LIFE. MAY YOU BE BLESSED IN ALL SHE DID FOR YOU DURING YOUR TIME IN TEXAS WITH HER.

Joy and Dale were my dance teachers when I was in elementary school. They were excellent teachers who really were like friends. I remember that they would host "parent" parties on the weekends and my parents loved to attend. For a while they lived across the intersection from us in Irving. Steve and Jeff were good friends. I was a Cardette in the debut year of 1965 through my graduation in 1967, and I later learned from our drill team sponsor, Mrs. Regina Hurst (Story), that Joy had choreographed our signature routine and many others! Joy contacted me when she heard of my mother passing away, and, as a real estate agent, she helped me. Many wonderful memories of a beautiful, loving, talented, and special lady. May Jesus give you peace with all the great memories of Joy.

My sincere condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one. May prayers strengthen you and memories comfort you, and may our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who loves us, comfort your hearts and "make you firm". (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17)

I am so sorry for your great loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted," and "comforts all who mourn," sustain your family during this challenging time. With heartfelt sympathy. Isaiah 61: 1, 2
