MASSENGALE, Matthew Warner Matthew Warner Massengale was born on 8/29/1967 and died peacefully on 11/17/2020 surrounded by his loving family. He faced the diagnosis of neuro-endocrine cancer with dignity, grace, and determination. He courageously endured three years of intense treatment and inspired all who walked the way with him. He was our beloved treasure, loving husband, son, brother, and friend. Cherishing his memory are his loving wife, Raelene; mother, Mary Massengale; sister, Veronica Byrne, many friends, and his beloved dogs. He was predeceased by his father, Jerry Massengale. He graduated from University of North Texas. An adventurer and world traveler, his mantra was "I am a Spiritual being on a Human journey". He was an Eagle Scout, climbed Kilimanjaro, and enjoyed a 25-year career in the Event Management Industry traveling the US/Europe. His courage and faith in God remained strong until the end. We are blessed to know he is at rest in God's eternal embrace. A family service was held 11/23/2020 at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church.
