Michael Helman MacAdams, born May 1, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Marjorie and Lewis MacAdams passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2019 in Plano, Texas at the age of 72.
Michael graduated from the St. Marks School of Texas where he served on the alumni board. He received his bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from SMU.
Mike cared deeply about people and spent his life serving and helping others in countless ways. Mike was president and founder of the MacAdams Financial Group, where he and his wife and business partner Jane MacAdams continue to devotedly serve their clients.
Mike was a bright light in this world, touching the lives of many. An innate philanthropist, Mike has served the community through his active involvement with local non-profit organizations. He was currently the Board Chairperson of Youth with Faces and was a past board member of Jewish Family Services. Through his involvement in his AA and Al-Anon communities, he used his personal journey to instill hope in the lives of other fellow travelers.
Mike was the most devoted and fun husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He is survived by wife Jane Zaika MacAdams, daughters Evan MacAdams (Dan Gubasta) and Elie MacAdams, siblings Lewis MacAdams Jr., Katherine MacAdams Howard, and Alan MacAdams, in addition to many more loved ones who will all miss him eternally.
A ceremony to celebrate the life of our beloved Michael Helman MacAdams will be held at 1:00 PM on December 20, 2019 at Temple Emanu-El in Stern Chapel. For additional service information, please visit Sparkman-Hillcrest.com.

Mike was an amazing person that made everyone he meet feel like aa close friend. Remembering his energy and devotion to his wife and children, inspires me to be a stronger and better person. We will miss him but will never forget him. Prayers for all of his family and friends.
