Dean was much loved by his fellow Master Gardeners. He generously shared his beautiful garden, and it was featured on our garden tour. The caladiums he grew found new homes in the gardens of his Master Gardener friends. His vast knowledge of gardening was passed on to others through the many talks he gave as a member of our Speakers' Bureau. He will be missed. The Dallas County Master Gardeners extend our deepest sympathy to his family.

Gardening adds years to your life and life to your years. Unknown

Dean or Dino was a class act. We met while he was teaching our Sunday School at FUMCR and we became quick friends. Over the years we, Lisa too, shared many meals and times that are very special to me. His family meant the world to him. He would always talk about Carol and his daughters.

I never realized how much older he was than I because he lived life with such vigor and enthusiasm. He never seemed old. He always thought like a young man. I hope and pray that I can rise to his standard. When he called to say goodbye, my life stopped and we talked until he could no longer.

He has been a leader and inspiration to many and I have been truly blessed to have been his friend. You will be missed, prayers to your family, you have made a difference...

I will never forget the times we were fortunate enough to have Dean Brown as a guest speaker in our Sunday School class at FUMCR. His message told through his stories was amazing. He always gave God the glory. I pray that God would wrap Dean's family in his loving arms and bring you all comfort and peace.
