Hi. This is Randy Williamson. I sent a long, heartfelt message. I hope you got it. Sometimes I hit the wrong buttons. I loved Dick. He was a great man. We are all lucky to have known him. All the best to all of you. I know your hearts are heavy, and so is mine. Now you have two messages, if this works. Dick was the epitome of unpretentiousness. He and I had a strong bond. Even though I hadn't seen him for decades, I will miss him a lot, and I know you feel the same way. It is a huge loss. We are going to have to struggle with this one for a long time. Bye for right now.

Our deepest sympathy to the entire Getter family at the passing of your husband and father. He was a very special man and touch many lives in his slow, easy going way. His love of country, family, baseball, and golf were his passion. He was a wonderful friend to my father, Russ, and made it possible to introduce him to my mother, Evelyn, his cousin. My father always spoke highly of Dick and now he will be missed by many who knew and loved him. I always remember his distinct, one of a kind laugh!Loved it! Tina and Neil (Pacala) McCardle

My condolences to all his family. He always had to stick his head in my office and say hello every time he came in the Balcones offices during my 15+ years working for them. He was a very friendly and thoughtful person. RIP my dear friend.
