Sincere condolences on Russell's passing.

He was a longtime good friend and great servant of the Dallas community.

Russell was an lead Member of the Dallas City Council, Dallas Jaycees and selected one of the "Five Outstanding Young Texans".

My sympathy and condolences in the loss of Russell Smith. The storm flags are up as they were many times for me when he came to my aid with Council and help. A good friend and a pleasure to be with professionally and socially. I will miss him immensely.
