RUGGERI, Thomas Edward Thomas Edward Ruggeri, 77, passed away peacefully on 1/6/21. Tom was born in New Jersey in 1943. He moved to Dallas as a young man & established himself in the restaurant business with Ruggeri's Italian Restaurant. For 40+ years, Ruggeri's was a mainstay for countless customers, all of whom he considered friends. He was the face of Ruggeri's, greeting customers by name and taking pride in creating a memorable dining experience filled with delicious food and entertainment. Tom was a charismatic talented singer who loved to sing to his guests. Tom touched the lives of so many and will be truly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents Peter & Charlotte & former spouse Elaine. He is survived by his brother, Bob & wife Bari, sister Marilyn & husband Billy, former spouse & mother of his twin daughters Belinda, longtime girlfriend Mindy Branscum, daughter Melissa & son-in-law John, daughter Elizabeth & son-in-law Mark, daughter Angela, daughter Miranda & son-in-law Bob, mother-in-law Joan, niece Olivia, & seven grandchildren: Jacob, Marcus, Caitlyn, Luke, Cash, Nicholas, & Jack. www.restlandfuneralhome.com

So many fond memories over the years of Tom and our weekly dining at Ruggeri's on Routh. We always felt at home. We are so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Our sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.

What a huge loss for all of us that knew Tom. He was a fabulous friend, restauranteur and a great singer. A dear friend that will truly be missed. Rest In Peace dear Tom. My deepest sympathy, and May God bless you and your family.
