GRAHAM, Wayne Forrest Wayne Forrest Graham went to be with his Lord Jesus on October 10, 2020. A dedicated follower of Christ, Wayne leaves behind a legacy of faithful service to his family and a selfless love to his friends and all whom he met. A graduate of Texas Tech University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wayne spent more than three decades leading churches and congregations in pursuit of Christ. Previously Wayne served as minister of music at Tomball's Graceview Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Beaumont, North Richland Hills Baptist Church, and Duncanville's First Baptist Church. In addition to being a talented worship leader, Wayne was committed to a lifetime of missions, having traveled throughout Europe as a member of the Continental Singers; he later led mission trips to Canada, the United Kingdom, India, Ukraine and many domestic locations. More recently Wayne spent much time focusing his efforts on improving the lives of those in the Cordoba province of Argentina through educational assistance and access to healthcare. Wayne is survived by his wife of 40 years, Laura Hickman Graham; his mother, Dorothy Graham of Conroe; son, Jeremy Graham and wife Sarah, of Fredericksburg; son, Josh Graham and wife Kaitlyn, of Fort Worth; daughter, Jessica Barfield and husband Blake, of Dallas; as well as six grandchildren: Autumn, Henry, Ryker, Wade, Brooks and Byrdie; two sisters and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Wayne is now reunited in Heaven with his father, Forrest Graham. A celebration of life service will be held for Wayne at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 17th at Park Cities Baptist Church, 3933 Northwest Parkway, Dallas, TX. The service will also be streamed online at pcbcspecialevents.online.church In lieu of gifts or flowers, the family asks donations be made to Soaring Argentina at soaringargentina.org/

What a joy to have had Wayne for a long time friend, to have had the pleasure of working alongside him as he sought to serve/teach others during his time in Beaumont. Our family and our church were blessed by the Graham’s having been with us!
