To The Freeman Family:
I would like to give my condolences to the Freeman family. I am a First Grade teacher at Edison Elementary School. I met Mr. Freeman years ago when he was one of the Concerned Christian Men that would come to our school to mentor our young boys. He was a wonderful mentor for our students. Mr. Freeman taught them how to love and respect others. I pray in the name of Jesus that God lifts this family up and give them a spirit of comfort and peace at this time and in days to come.

Mrs. Freeman and Family,

I am saddened to hear of the passing of my friend and fellow Savannahian, Al Freeman. He was one of the first people I met when arriving in Dayton. Our friendship began immediately and grew through the years. Al Freemen was a friend of the children of Dayton and always worked to support them receiving a quality education. He also shared his love for baseball by coaching many youngsters who competed to be on his team. He had a strong belief in God and lived a life of giving. He will be missed but not forgotten by his friend and homeboy.

God bless you all,

Percy A. Mack

To Mrs. Shirley and Family, The family of Leon and Sarah Blalock send our love and prayers. Mr. Freeman was a great man of God and outstanding community servant and true friend of our family. We shall always cherish his memory.

A man's virtue is measured not by how much he loved, but by how he is loved by others.
Rest well Deacon Freeman. You have truly been loved by all.
