Carl was my beloved Brother. Regrettably we saw too little of each other as we served America, he 53-73, US Navy and I 62-83, US Army. Once, 1n 1967 I was flown by US Navy from Saigon, South Vietnam to his ship, USS Intrepid where we visited for 10-days during day-night combat flight operations against Haiphong North Vietnam. Our visit was a time of reestablished friendship and shared experience that we both treasured. He will be forever in my memory as a fine Brother of integrity, honor and loyalty to our family. His loving wife Peggy and Son James are in our prayers. Rest In Peace my dear Brother Carl, we love you. Donald Grant Cheesman

Words cannot express the sorrow in hearing of your passing. You were a great man, Uncle Carl. Our hearts and prayers are with you, Aunt Peggy, Jim, and the Family. Rest easy. We love you. Gone, but never forgotten.
