TURNER, Jr., Frank J. Age 88, of Houston, Texas passed away Tuesday evening. Born in Hamilton, Ohio to Frank Turner, Sr. and Grace (Buell) Turner. Frank was a beloved husband, dad, grandpa, brother, son, uncle, and cousin. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Loretta (Hardy), two daughters, Judy Jones of Houston, Texas and Tina Spena (Chris) of Solon, Ohio, 3 siblings William (Bill), Homer (Butch) (wife Rosie), and Sue Ann Morrison. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Lola Winkler. Frank graduated from Hamilton High and earned his master's degree from Central Michigan University. Frank began his career at Champion Paper and Fiber in Hamilton. He continued his career at Fernald in Ross, Ohio as an electrician. He worked at Harris Seybold in Dayton and Cleveland, Ohio as plant manager. He went on to become Director of Plant Engineering at Miami Valley Hospital for almost 25 years. In 1996 he retired to Houston where he enjoyed playing golf. He enjoyed participating and watching sports his entire life. In 1993 he was inducted into the Butler County Softball Hall of Fame. Frank was a generous, kind man with a great sense of humor and helped so many around him. He was a sharp-minded hard worker with integrity and jack of all trades (electrician, carpenter, yard work, and more). He loved dogs and helped with his daughter's Great Dane rescue.

I worked for Frank Turner in the beginning of my time here at Miami Valley Hospital. He was a good person. Taught me a lot.
