FARNHAM (nee: Grissom), Phyllis A. Age 53, of Huber Heights, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born February 22, 1965 in Dayton. Phyllis was a 1983 graduate of Vandalia-Butler High School and enjoyed being a stay-at-home mother. She is survived by her loving husband, Forrest Farnham; children, Brittany (Farnham) Vasquez (Jorge) & Leah Farnham; mother, Dorothy Ganter and step-father, Rick Ganter; father, John M. Grissom, Jr. (Donna); grandfather, John M. Grissom, Sr. (Katy); sisters, Cheryl Sands (Todd Barto) & Mandi Grissom; brother, Chuck Grissom (Ryanne); nieces & nephews, Haley Sands, Caitlyn Grissom, Braeden Grissom, Andrew Grissom & Riley Grissom; and by her aunts & uncles. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 10, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Chaplain Randy Reed will officiate. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Phyllis to either The Hospice of Dayton or the American Cancer Society.
