R.I.P. PICK YOU WILL BE MISSED
February 13, 2018
My deepest sympathies. Pick was greatly admired in and around the Dayton area. Such a very nice man. May he rest in peace.

As I look back over my life....there are a few people who stand out to me...Your Dad was one of them. Pick would spend time with us teenage boys in the stands before a game...telling us clean naughty stories....he would reach in his pocket when funds were low for bus trips for travel hockey and use his own RV for other times...never asking for a dime.

When my youngest son won the AAA Silverstick I remember asking one of the board members about Pick...trying to catch up...he lit up and said nothing but great things about him!!

Pick and your mom always opened their home to us kids...a place to get together and stay out of trouble ( it didn't always work!)...it even was a haven one time for a silly runaway teenager ( they didn't know that one!)

I received a call to tell me the news last week of your Dad's passing...a non hockey friend who knew what he meant to Dayton!!
That says it all! We all loved Pick!!!!

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you!!
