John was an absolutely wonderful musician/saxophonist. I loved to hear him play. He was an encourager to other musicians as well. A true gentleman in everything he did. He will be missed, but as our pastor always says, Absent from the body, present with the Lord. I'm sure he is made it to that heavenly band and is reminiscing and playing with all of the Hamilton All-Star musicians that have preceded him: (Al Frankey, Ernie Weaver, Dick Roberts, Ray Brandhoff, Bob Legg, Don Perrine, Bill Phillips, Shiek Coyle, and so many others. Thanks for sharing your talents and bringing such sweet music to this world, John! Bill Klaber

I am so sorry for your lost. May you find comfort in the God of all comfort because he cares for you. 1Peter 5:6-7

Our love and prayers go to the family of John Betz. Paul and I had your loving father and his brother, Harold, as students in our GED class. We were so proud of them when they received their GED and were announced as Students of the Year. We enjoyed them so much, and they told us some wonderful stories from their many years of success in their businesses and their artistic abilities in music and sculpture. We live in Florida now, and we have shared their GED success to many! Thought of them so often. Love to all, Paul and Evonne McFarland
