As a young girl, I remember my Mom (Sandra Sanders-Conklin) taking me to visit Great Aunt Margaret Alice. My Mom just loved her and I loved to go w/her to visit. She was the most loving, happy and welcoming person you could ever meet. No matter how much time may have past over the years, she always greeted you with a big hug, a contagious smile and the conversations were always easy. I am glad to know she got to live a long life. I had really hoped to see her at my wedding. God Bless her and her family. I know God has a special place for her in heaven. May she forever rest in peace. Love, Vicki Conklin-Bowman

For some reason the past two weeks I have been thinking about Aunt Margaret Alyce. I even checked on the internet and saw she was now 97. Good for her. No one that I have ever known smiled and laughed as much as Aunt Margaret Alice. If we could all have her outlook on life we would be so much better off. Rest In Peace with that smile on your face. Love, Edie (Sanders) Mims-Arlington, Va.

Auntie, a bright light in the times I had with you. Always a kind and generous spirit. I miss your sparkling, and at times, mischevious eyes. Your laugh was contagious. Your welcoming spirit will be with me always. You allowed me to cook in your kitchen, a huge gesture that gave me a feeling of belonging and loved. I Will love you always and am thankful for the short time you were a part of my life and the lives of my children.
