Surprised to learn of Micks passing away. Did get to visit with him in 2007 at Canal Street. Mick was a resident of Yellow Springs, Ohio for many years before settling in the Oregon district. He loved music like nobody else. Sin City was Steve Johnson, Chuck Mattingly, Marvin "Gardens" and Mick on rhythm guitar and vocals. He introduced himself as Tonto's Headband. Such drive and ease of manner! Very talented and an astute business man always. Dayton lost a unique gent. Sympathy to all family members.

Thanks, Mick, you old sidewinder. By now it should be very clear how much love you generated and left behind.

"he left me here to ramble on
my ramblin' pal is dead and gone
if when we die we go somewhere
i'll bet you a dollar he's ramblin' there.
so here's to you, my ramblin' boy
may all your rambles bring you joy..."

Farewell old friend. I will always remember Ringgold Street.
