SWANK, Charlotte M. Age 99, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018. Charlotte was born February 5, 1918 to David and Della Zehring in Dayton, OH. She attended First Lutheran Church and was Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star Sunbeam Chapter. Charlotte enjoyed playing cards, crafting, reading, and taking long walks. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Vernis E. Swank; son-in-law, Thomas L. Poliquin. Charlotte is survived by daughters, Peggy (Fred Lamar) Herr, Nancy Poliquin; grandchildren, Deborah (Richard) Jones, Cynthia Ann (Angelo) Dilworth, Thomas A. (Janet) Poliquin, Carla Jean Woyden, Amy L. Poliquin, Lisa Marie (Karl) Mattern, great-grandchildren; Harry, Joshua, Kyle, Ryan, Eric, Michael, Maria, David, Taylor, Susan, Alisha; 6 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 12pm Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd, Kettering. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lincoln Manor Assisted Living, 694 Isaac Prugh Way, Kettering, OH 45429, or Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420.
