CAMPBELL, Robert R. Age 84, of Waynesville, passed away Mon. March 5, 2018 at his residence. Robert is a graduate of Waynesville High School, class of '51. He was an Army and National Guard veteran. He was a former member of the Waynesville School Board. He greatly enjoyed playing golf and boating. Robert will be remembered as being strong, hardworking, determined and witty. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol in 2012, parents Russell and Mildred Campbell, and one sister Carolyn Gilliam. He is survived by three sons Robert S. Campbell, Craig Campbell, Dale (Amy) Campbell; one daughter Valerie (Rick) Harper; 13 grandchildren; and one sister Betty Dunlinger. Services will be 2 PM Sat. March 10 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Burial will be at Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Fri. and one hour prior to the service Sat. at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to the Richard Longacre Memorial Scholarship Fund.
