Diane and Tom,

My deepest condolences on your Mother's loss. Having been family neighbors all our lives, although losing touch at times in previous years, I'm thankful to have reconnected. I'm glad I saw your Mom last summer and being Facebook friends with her. Always know I'm just down the street. I'm sorry my plans to come today didn't work out, with overnight situations at home. May the memories and her Spirit live on forever more. She's with your Dad now. God Bless you all, and your Mom, Rita.

My sympathy goes out to her family. I enjoyed my association with her.

Rita was my best friend. She and I went to Europe together in1958, and I fell in love at that time with Europe. I taught at Reily High School, but after school I worked with Rita at Richard's Pizza where we made pizza together for many years. Sitting on the steps of the pizza parlor Main and D was our favorite pasttime when business got slow. Que Dieu te bénisse, mon amie!
