Stan worked with my sister Lyn at the book store. I also really liked him. My mom and dad also got to know him. He always had a kind thing to say and he was so friendly! I too am very sad to hear of his passing. I will always remember him and his kindness and friendship. My condolences to you all.

I am so sorry to hear of Stan's passing. When he worked with me at City News & Books in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he was a member of our family. The grandkids crawled all over him at the picnics and he played games with them. He gave Madisan his big Thesaurus because she loved dictionaries! She still has it to this day!
He was my good friend, my computer guru, and knowing he was just a phone call away, kept us in touch- not enough, but we would talk for a long time to catch up on things. I remember how thrilled he was when he found his daughter. I see she is gone also. Now they will always be together along with Mom and the rest of the family that has gone first.
I will miss him.
I am extending my deepest condolences to the rest of the family. He was so proud of all of you.
