Deepest condolences to Charlotte's family. I grew up living next door to the Gebhart family, and Barbara, Charlotte's daughter, became my closest friend. I spent many hours at the Gebhart house roller skating, reading library books on their front porch swing, having lunch, sampling fresh baked cookies and playing outdoor games. Charlotte was very much an animal lover, and I recall one time a squirrel got in their house. We chased that squirrel up and down stairs several times and it was swinging from the drapes. Their dog and my dog had a ball chasing it. We finally opened both the front & back door and the dogs chased it out. I have many fond memories of all the Gebhart family. Charlotte was like a second Mom to me growing up, and I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing.
