MOLNAR, Irene 94, of Middletown, died Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Bickford of Middletown. She was born in Middletown on September 12, 1923 to parents John and Juliana (Szakolczai) Torok. Irene worked as a medical transcriptionist and with the laboratory at Middletown Regional Hospital for 22 years, retiring in 1986. She attended Christ United Methodist Church. Mrs. Molnar is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Jim) Wireman & Carolyn (Tim) Melton; four granddaughters, Erica Melton, Kristina (Jim) Arnold, Julie & Lauren; eleven great grandchildren; and special friend, Carolyn Snook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Geza Molnar in 1994 and her parents. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Norman Coleman III officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. Please sign the guestbook online at WilsonSchrammSpaulding.com

Irene was one of my Best friends in the Laboratory at Middletown Hospital. We made each other laugh a lot! She was always cheerful and friendly. She will be missed by her family and friends! Rest in peace my friend!
