IFFLAND, Karen S. Age 73 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born December 5, 1944 in Richmond, Indiana the daughter of the late Byron and H. Lucille (Rowe) Poppaw. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Poppaw, and sister, Ann Jones. Karen is survived by her husband of 40 years, Michael Iffland; daughter, Deborah M. Weisman; grandchildren, Joshua A. (Taylor Hoffman) Moody, Sarah E. Moody; brothers, Daniel (Joyce) Poppaw and Timothy M. (Mary) Poppaw; sister-in-law, Cheryl (Tom) Bailey as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Karen was a dedicated general counsel and prayer warrior for others. She also enjoyed a long career as a hairdresser and licensed cosmetologist in Ohio and New York. Funeral Service will be held at Friday, March 23, 2018 at 11:00 am at David's Cemetery Chapel, Dayton, OH. Visitation will be Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton at 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420. Please visit www.newcomerdayton.com to share a memory in the family guest book.

Danny and Joyce , my thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of you . I pray for peace and comfort that you may find somehow during this difficult time .Karen was such a great friend to all of the Crowe family for as long as I can remember. Karen loved me she always always told me so this was how she was she didn't love me no more than I loved her .. Now shes at peace shes with her heavenly father looking down on us Now she is no longer our Earthly Angel she is our Heavenly Angel .. Love & Prayers to each of you and your families
