Mr. Willhoff told a great Coldwater baseball story at Dad's funeral. I'm sure they will be sharing some good memories. I know how import Mr. and Mrs. Willhoff were to Mom and Dad

Sympathy to the entire family. I know Tom (and Joan) enjoyed coming to the Stanley Romer family gathering in August. May he rest in peace.

As mentioned Mr. Willhoff loved the Boilermakers and the Reds, and my wife and I, along with my parents, had a chance to enjoy two such opportunities with the Willhoffs. In 2000 the six of us travelled to South Bend for a Purdue/ Notre Dame football game. It was early in the season...Notre Dame lost to #1 Nebraska the previous week while Purdue came in at 2-0. It was Drew Brees senior year and Mr. Willhoff was extremely excited about Purdue's chances. Unfortunately, it was with great dismay for him that the Boilermakers couldn't pull it out. The following year the six of us attended the Reds Opening Day....a huge event! Mr. Willhoff, Dad and I played golf the previous day....and the six of us enjoyed a dinner that evening with Dad and Mr. Willhoff enjoying drinks and reminiscing.
What a wonderful man!
