Dear Clara, Billy, and Karen,

I am sorry for the loss of Bill. I was there in spirit with my dad. He is now resting in peace.

I will always remember the good old days of Neidich family reunions. Although I was young, I remember Bill's great personality and friendly demeanor. You were blessed with a great husband and father.

I have been thinking of you during this difficult time. Sorry I could not be there. We all have our own families and jobs that eat up our time. We are also spread across the country. If I don't see you all before, my dad assures me I will see you in heaven.

Billy and Karen, I hope you and families are doing well. You guys got old fast. Just Kidding. Time passes slowly, then all of a sudden.

I have the best picture hanging in my man cave. It's Clara's wedding, with mother and all the boys. What an awesome family.

Bill had a complete life. I would have liked to talk to him about his Navy days. Navy guys are interesting (I work with a lot of them). I think it's from being stuck on a boat for long periods of time. They sure mature fast and gain a quick wit, but still stay immature when necessary.

Again, I am sorry I didn't make the funeral. As Yogi Berra once said, "You have to go to your friends funeral, otherwise they won't go to yours."

Good night to all.

Love

Dave
