Bayard "Brad" Gears, age 66, of Wilmington, DE passed away on July 17, 2017. Born and raised in New Castle, DE, he has resided in North Wilmington for the past 14 years, previously residing in Essington, PA. Self Employed in the ceramic tile business, he was an avid boater and a member of the Riverside Boat Club. Brad is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Doris Finley Childless Gears. He is survived by his loving partner Patricia Tentromono, siblings, Evelyn Curcio & Jeffrey Gears, children, Michael & Mark Gears, Lynn German & Sandy as well as grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday, 5:00-6:30pm followed by services at 6:30pm. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
