Carol and Jack and the boys were our neighbors for only a year or so in Lancaster Pa in early 1970'S but she was the best neighbor I have ever had. Her enthusiasm, energy and creative spirit brought a sparkle to the lives of whomever she came in contact with. She radiated joy and happiness to all while she raised 4 young men, served as President of the Welcome Wagon and worked as a nurse. All was done with a smile, a joke and a laugh. She was a truly amazing person! Jack and her family are in our thoughts and prayers.

We have been friends and admirers of Carol since we were next door neighbors in Norfolk, Va. in 1965-66 and later in Northern Virginia. We were disheartened to learn of her health issues, but not surprised at how valiantly she fought this terrible cancer. We will always remember her vivacious ness, joy of life, love of family, and concern for others. Fortunately, her wonderful spirit will manifest itself in her sons and grandchildren. We will pray for Jack and all her family during this period of great sadness.

I will miss Carol being a part of my life. Although we did not see each other often after our college days, we always seemed to re-connect quickly whenever we had an opportunity to get together at reunions, professional meetings and other events. I will always remember the great times we had at Villanova and the support we gave to each other. Carol was a special person and a friend for life. She will be missed.
