So sorry to hear about Aunt Kitty. It has been many years since I last saw her, but will never forget the Sunday family get togethers when I was a little girl. I cherish those memories. When I moved to FL., I met Lily thru Jeanette and Kitty lived with Lily's mom and they both knew our Aunt Kitty. What a small world. Kitty needed to be with the rest of her siblings and parents. Rest in peace Aunt Kitty♥

Very Sorry

What a blessing to have had my beloved Aunt Catherine (lovingly known as Kitty) as godmother in life. Her inner and outer beauty was like something that came out of a dream and her loyalty to her family was matchless. In my earliest most difficult years in NYC, she would take a train to come and find me, comfort me and encourage me. I enjoyed her visits, as we would go out to dinner, while jazz piano greats serenaded us in the background. She was fun! Behind her and my Aunt JoAnne's (her older sister) fashionable influence, they taught me about style and femininity. Aunt Kitty had the most beautiful smile and her skin was ageless. Inheriting her mother's (my grandmother Giuseppa) character of tirelessly showing kindness, gentleness, compassion, warmth and loveliness, sincerity and genuineness to all, like Grand mom Silicato, everyone she (they) touched had a good word to say in return.
My deepest appreciation to my sister Ava must be addressed for her dedication in making sure Aunt Kitty was properly cared for in her later years. Ava will find blessed favor with the Lord for her selfless giving, and deservedly so.
Now as an ancestor, my spirit will eternally connect with yours - until we meet again!
Your loving goddaughter,
Antoinette Silicato
