Elizabeth "Annie" Cardenti
Wilmington - Elizabeth Ann "Annie" Cardenti, age 72, of Wilmington, DE, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Annie loved decorating her yard for every season. She looked forward to having her home brightly lit with Christmas lights during the holiday. Annie enjoyed keeping up with her Facebook friends and playing card games on the computer. She liked playing pool, watching racing cars, and cheering for the Eagles and Phillies. Annie cherished her grandchildren and enjoyed time spent with them.
Annie is survived by her son, Joe Cardenti (Shavon); grandchildren: Joe, Jovanna, Rosean, and Jena; sister, Kim; brothers: Jack (Debbie), Timmy (Joanne), Jimmy (Debbie), Danny (Barbara), Ronnie (Joyce) and Robbie (Cathy); and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul McFarland and Barbara Sapp; daughter, Joanna Cardenti; and sister, Kathy Gambill.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 4-5 PM at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702 followed by a memorial service in celebration of both Annie and Joanna's lives at 5 PM. I knew Annie ever since I was 10 years old I worked for Annie at Engine's plus plus use to see annie alot at Cecil County raceway she would always be there when my cousins use to Drag Race there. Gonna miss Annie she was a great friend & Boss . Sending prayers out to her son Joe . R.I.P. Annie
