Ramon C. Navarro
Ramon C. Navarro, age 83, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Wednesday, December 13, 2017.
Ramon was born in Vado, New Mexico on October 9, 1934, and was the son of the late Ricardo Navarro and Marie Cortez. He was a veteran of the Air Force and stationed in Dover, DE. Following his discharge he spent more than 40 years as an insurance agent.
Ramon enjoyed traveling across country with his beloved family. In his spare time Ramon liked to relax with oil painting. He enjoyed playing guitar and was an avid bowler. He was also a karaoke superstar. Ramon was a loving father, brother, and grandfather.
In addtion to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Mary A. Navarro. Ramon is survived by his children, Victoria Hofmann (Barry) of New Castle, Ricardo Navarro (Denise) of Nether Providence, Pennsylvania, Tinker Navarro (Jill Porter) of Nottingham, Pennsylvania, Trinidad Navarro (Melissa) of Bear and Denise Lardani of Wilmington; his siblings, Sally Gomez (Donald), Isidro (Isabel), Trinidad (Frances), Jimmy (Gloria), Henry, and Mike Navarro (Bernice); and 12 grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 pm until 8 pm on Tuesday evening, December 19, 2017 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, Delaware. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima, 801 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, followed by interment in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.

So sorry to hear of Ramons passing. He was always nice to everyone. Could not ask for a better neighbor. I lived at 19 Gail Rd.

RICKY...DEE..and all Navarro family..I am so sorry for your loss! He was truly a kind & funny man..he always had a smile and Always made me laugh..it is a privilege to have known him and I will always have special place in my heart for him as he always said to me every time I saw him, my "almost daughter-in-law"...it was an ongoing joke but... really I would have been proud to call him "my"father-in-law"....... So...Pops RIP and we will see you again.
