"Grady" and I were fellow members at Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, and the Wednesday Morning Bible Study. He always had a quiet and wise perspective on the Bible studies, and I enjoyed hearing his recollections of life that showed his Christian heritage.

I have known the Hurst family my whole life. I remember Mr. Hurst as a kind, soft spoken man. He was a man who worked hard to provide for his family. He lived a long good life and I'm sure he was a hero to his four sons. To Drew, Bob and Bruce, I'm sorry to hear about the passing of both Mr. Hurst and Don and wish you all peace at what I know is a difficult time. Be happy that you had your Dad for such a long time and celebrate his life with happy memories.
