New Castle - Dwayne R. Armstrong, age 88, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017.
A committal service with military honors will be held at 11 am on Monday morning, December 4, 2017, in the chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE. A gathering for family and friends will be held at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle, on Friday, December 15, 2017, visitation at 10:30 am followed by a memorial service at 11 am.

Dwayne Armstrong was my grandfather's oldest brother, he was apart of my family and he served in the military. I know him and I aren't that close but I would often visit him once or twice a year. I think of Uncle Dwayne as a hero. I miss you uncle Dwayne, we all do.
