Chrissie,
Katie Grant here. I'm so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. You are certainly in my thoughts and prayers. Later in life, I got to know your dad a bit, by seeing him at jazz night at Gallucio's in Wilmington. He was so nice and so handsome. I had no idea of his musical past. In case he didn't mention it, you were "the apple of his eye." Please extend my sympathies to your family, especially your brother, who is a good friend of my sister, Joanne, from St. Matt's. Take care. Katie

I will forever miss you Mr. Bob. I always enjoyed our conversations about your love of music, your family and your beautiful wife. When I first met you, I asked you who was that in the picture (in your room), you said my wife, she was the greatest women I ever met. I thought that was the sweetest and I hope my husband feels the same way about me one day. I will always remember how kind hearted you were and how grateful you were for all of the employees and everything we did for you at Somerford house. You were one of the few residents who always said thank you. A thank you goes along way and you're appreciation for us never went unnoticed. You were my favorite resident and I wish I had the chance to say goodbye . Rest in heaven. I love you and You will always hold a special place in my heart ❤

It doesn't take much to live good was Bob Cordrey's motto, but anyone who knew Bob realized that he gave much, and taught us to live great. His passions were family, Boy Scouts and jazz, and anyone fortunate to have flown in the orbit of those worlds with Bob was richly rewarded. Bob was indeed a treasure, in whom we all shared, thanks to his generosity of spirit. We can only affirm what everyone with the good fortune to have know his friendship would say: we were glad, and blessed, to have known you, Bob.
