This is such a beautiful tribute to your father, who was a wonderful man. I enjoyed getting to know him and (your mother),since about 1987, they always made me feel welcome on every occasion I was with them. Your father always had a happiness about him, if we were at the club, a wedding or a party, Roger was always cheerful and welcomed me with a big hug. I enjoyed talking with him and sharing conversation about all of you, he would catch me up on his children and grandchildren, he was so proud of all of you!Take this time with your family to rejoice in his life. Know that he is now reunited with the love of his life. I send my prayers to all of you during this difficult time. With lots of love,Katie Moran

My wife Sandi and I send our prayers "for the Peace that Passeth Understanding" to Roger's family and friends.

Roger and I built a relationship when we had the occasion to work together in the early 1980s in DuPont's Polymer Products, Roger, Frank Cogdell, Frank Aronholt, and others.

Roger was a great man, rich with integrity, focus and passion for his work, and it was enjoyable to spend time with him. I left DuPont with the beginning of down-sizing in 1993, and Roger perhaps later, but we often ran into each other around Greenville, where we'd have a chance to visit.

My deepest condolences to his family.
