Dear Martineau family, I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. Steven played in the UD symphony orchestra where I am currently the graduate conducting assistant. He did such a wonderful job there, played beautifully and was also enormously helpful in subbing when one of his colleagues couldn't be there. I and we all miss him a lot. We dedicated the final concert of the semester to him a few weeks and played our hearts out.

Dear sweet Michelle,

It was such a pleasure meeting you and Steven in Italy!
Our hearts are broken. What a wonderful young man.
We are praying for you in this time of sorrow.

My grandson went to school with Steve and enjoyed time on the swim team with him. I personally recall seeing him at swim meets. Most importantly were the wonderful things that Connor had to say regarding his friend. I am very thankful that, our family was fortunate to know such an exceptional young man. Our deepest sympathy to your family.
