Teri L. Steltzer, age 54, of Middletown, DE, surrounded by loving family, went home to be with the Lord on March 10, 2016 after a short, aggressive battle with cervical cancer. Teri cherished her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She loved cooking for her family, Christmas and decorating for the holidays. Teri enjoyed watching NASCAR, gardening, apple memorabilia, camping at Holly Lake and watching her favorite movie, Short Circuit.
Teri is survived by her daughters: Jennifer L. Schaeffer (Bill), Stephanie M. Ramos (Tony), Stacey L. Steltzer (Khalil); grandchildren, Takiah Thomas and Joseph Hatfield; mother, Peggy Goldhahn; brothers, Joseph Daniels, Jr. and Thomas Goldhahn, II; special sisters-in-law, Rebecca Manolatos (Tom) and Elizabeth Steltzer Bard; her best friend of 20+ years Kevin J. Scheuer; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews; and her beloved cats, Symba and Kittymoe. She was predeceased by her husband, Timothy "Tim" Steltzer; and her father, Joseph Daniels.
A celebration of Teri's life will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 13 Pennington St., Middletown, DE 19709 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702 to help with Teri's final expenses.
