Billy, I'm so sorry to learn of your dad's passing. I also wanted to thank you for coming to my mom's funeral in 2007. I was taken back by seeing you, and kinda out of it, wishing we took some time to talk. Love Diane van dyke

Bill and Betty were our first friends. We graduated in 1954 and spent most of our free time with them. It's been 60 years since we moved away but I remember him as a wonderful person. L. Tyler (Gannon)

Coach Wilson was like a 2nd father to me. He taught me how to play baseball and I am still playing. He taught me how to body surf the waves in Ocean City MD. I was riding the waves down in Fenwick Tues. and Wed. ( maybe with him). He built my Pushmobile Derby Cart out of sheet metal. It looked like a rocket ship. He took me on road trips to watch the Phillies and Yankees. Billy and his Dad really loved the Yankees and Mickey Mantle. I am really glad we had the reunion. I know that there are about 200 guys that feel like Coach Wilson was like a father to them. Billy, Carol and Terry were like brother and sisters to me. Thanks for sharing your dad with us. I hope that they have a lot of room at the service because I think it is going to be standing room only .

You had to know this man and his heart to understand true kindness and genuine caring. He was a man of few words but of unbounding generosity and love. He guided and mentored so many in the most humble of ways. What an honor to know him.
